AIRLINES ARE the latest CULPRIT OF UNFETTERED CORPORATE GREED.
IT’S TIME FOR our GOVERNMENT TO TAKE ACTION.
Americans are sick of being ripped off BY THE AIRLINE INDUSTRY
When airlines needed to stay afloat during the pandemic, TAXPAYERS BAILED THEM OUT with a $54 billion check.
How did the airline industry respond?
By breaking its promise to keep pilots and personnel on the job, defrauding and stranding passengers by selling tickets to flights they knew they couldn't operate, and pocketing $10 billion and counting in refunds that belong back in consumers' bank accounts. And of course, jacking up prices, which are up by nearly 50% from pre-pandemic levels.
#ENDAIRLINEGREED
America's airports are a corporate crime scene. While the largest airlines celebrate record revenues during the worst-ever summer for air travel, the Department of Transportation has sat on its hands. Now, 38 state attorneys general from around the country are asking Congress to step in to enforce the law where the Department of Transportation won’t.
We’re fed up with their greed.
TAKE ACTION:
Tell Congress to END AIRLINE GREED and allow state ATTORNEYS GENERAL to hold airlines accountable.
Demand that Congress allow consumers and state officials to sue airlines for their abuses.
HOW TO HOLD AIRLINES ACCOUNTABLE:
-
Allow state lawmakers, attorneys general, and public citizens to hold airlines accountable
-
Ban “Common Ownership” to stop Wall Street from rigging the industry
-
Fine airlines for every day they fail to return the billions in refunds that travelers are owed
-
Fine airlines for scheduling and charging for flights that they cannot operate
-
Ban stock buybacks for airlines
-
Ban bonuses for airline executives
-
Block airline mergers and fight consolidation in the industry
